SYSTEMSABOUT
I'm Kush, a software engineer and UT Dallas computer science graduate. I like working through complex problems and turning what I learn into useful software.
My experience at Amazon has involved distributed services, data migration workflows, and cloud infrastructure. At Paycom, I worked on backend performance and web applications. Research at USC introduced another kind of engineering question: how to understand the behavior of machine learning models through experiments.
Across those settings, I enjoy tracing a problem through the system, understanding the tradeoffs, and making the result easier to use and maintain.
My personal projects give me room to explore—from educational tools and recommendations to multiplayer game mechanics.
Distributed services, data migration workflows, and cloud infrastructure.
SYSTEMSBackend performance and customer-facing web applications.
APPLICATIONSVision-language models, evaluation, and learning from experimental results.
RESEARCHJava and Python for backend systems and experimentation. TypeScript and React for interfaces. SQL, AWS, and distributed data tools for the services underneath.
The tools change with the problem. Clarity, reliability, and an understanding of the whole system stay central.
I'm always interested in thoughtful engineering conversations.
